- I'm chairing the Autumn Leadership & Communication Conference of the European Speechwriters Network and the UK Speechwriters' Guild. This conference will take me to Brussels September 19 and 20, and I'll be in London the week before the meeting. You can see the impressive list of speakers from the US, UK, Canada, Belgium, and Denmark at the link, as well as registration details. There's a speechwriting basics workshop on Sept. 19 and the full conference follows on the 20th. American communicators: This one is well worth the trip. See what I had to say about the spring conference, which I keynoted in May.
- I head to New Orleans October 2-4 for the annual conference of the Communications Network. It's a group of communicators in philanthropy, and I've been a member since my days at the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation. The meeting is open to nonprofit communicators of all types, and it is a creative, lively network. There's a smart roster of speakers, plus extra workshops on October 2 before the formal meeting begins.
Both of these conferences have nice early registration discounts that end soon--after July 14 for the Communications Network, and after July 15 for the European Speechwriters Network. Come join me for these wonderful professional development and networking opportunities
