Weekly writing coach: Hack your writing habits this week

Put up that pen, keyboard or dictation recorder. This week, in honor of National Novel Writing Month (aka NaNoWriMo) (whose website itself has a motherlode of tips and hacks), Lifehacker's running a series on the writing life.  In true Lifehacker spirit, the series is all about your writing habits and making them more effective.
