- On September 28 in Washington, DC, at the Society for Marketing Professional Services, I'll be speaking on "The Social Media Revolution: Is it the right mix for the A/E/C marketing mix?" to architecture, engineering and construction firms' marketing pros (who are welcome to bring their firm principals for free to the session, which costs $30 for members and $45 for non-members). Registration details are here.
- On October 1 in Little Rock, Arkansas, at a meeting of the National Science Foundation's Experimental Program to Stimulate Competitive Research (EPSCoR) program, I'll be facilitating another Communicating Science: Tools for Scientists and Engineers workshop, presented by the American Association for the Advancement of Science. These workshops are free to scientists and engineers, but you must pre-register, as space is limited. The 2009-2010 schedule of workshops starts with this one in Little Rock, and continues with workshops in Ithaca, New York, November 5; San Diego, California, February 18; Austin, Texas, March 25; and Boulder, Colorado, April 29.
Please let me know if I'll see you at any of these workshops--I'm looking forward to them and to meeting the participants.
